I am currently on a project where the Sharc 21369 needs to receive data at about 30-40 Mbit/s (SPORT) and back out using another SPORT at the same speed. This process needs to continuously run for at least a few minutes. However, using the block-based talkthrough examples I have found that I am very limited with the amount of clock cycles I have to actually process the data (which probably will be FIR filters, decimation, etc for floating numbers). I was wondering if this processor can handle this processing speed (if so, how) or if there is a better DSP for this application (floating numbers preferred.
