Symmetrical Slew Rate?

The Single Slew External Volume Block responds to a DC Input Entry on the control input.  A DC Entry of '1' yields unity gain, and changing it to '0.1' drops the level through the block by the expected 20dB.  The slew rate of the gain change may be set with a number in the box, but this slewing is not symmetrical.  For example, with a slew setting of '18,' the first 19dB of gain reduction takes 24 seconds.  But going back up by the same amount takes only 12 seconds, about half the time or twice the slewing rate.  Does anyone have a simple solultion to give symmetrical performance?
