We are starting a project where an antenna array will be used to sample the amplitude and phase of incoming signals and then will re-transmit these values at another location around a test object. What we really need is some help finding the right transceivers. The amplitude of the incoming signals are expected to be low (approx. -30 dBm), and an ideal frequency would be around 3 GHz. The logic and processing for these transceivers will be controlled by a microcontroller. Also, it is very important that the transceivers can work with CW signals, modulation may be important later, but CW is the highest priority right now. Any help pointing us to the right chips will be greatly appreciated as well as any suggestions to tutorials or design tools for testing and layout.
