Frequency Stability of the ADF4350 eval board (ADF4350EB2Z) ?

I plan to test to evaluate the ADF4350 Wideband Synthesizer with Integrated VCO for a telecom project. For that I will use the evaluation board EVAL-ADF4350EB2Z.


I want to generate a sinusoidal signal at 3.3GHz with a good frequency stability, more or less 2.5ppm (i.e. more or less 8.5kHz). ADF4350 is the good choice for such a clock generation (this performance doesn't seem to be addressed by the datasheet) ? If not the case, what frequency stability can I expect?


I would like to understand how to determine the frequency stability, but I don't have found clear and relevant information. I imagine, frequency stability will depend on:

- the frequency stability of the 10MHz reference TCXO used in the eval board (what is its value?)

- but also on the VCO stability

- and on the loop filter

Is it correct ?
