Can someone helping me to drive ADAU1761 from PL of Zedboard via I2C. I need a VHDL code so that can drive the codec just make a simple voice in by using mic and looping back to output speaker.
No - Learn Linux - otherwise - you are on your own - (this doesn't make sense to do on a platform like Zynq), we don't have a design that does that, and have no plans to do so. (BTW - this sounds like a homework assignment, and since you registered with gmail, I can't tell if you are a student or not).
Boot up the default image that we have for the ZedBoard - then "vrec -w | vplay" - that should be all there is to it.
Did you mean using linux. If possible i want to avoid linux because I dont know how to deal with linux. Can you share if any the hdl code to drive ADAU1761 using I2C controller. At least i can power up the device and control the register of the codec.
