BF524 USB device only

I have a question regarding the VBUS pin on a BF524.

I don't want to run in OTG mode, and therefore I will not provide power to USB as a host. What I want to know is how to connect the VBUS pin. Does it still go to 'power' of the USB connector like most other controllers?

I have looked over the BF526 eval board documentation as well as the BF524 hardware reference manual (HRM). The HRM talks a little about using USB in device mode only, but it doesn't talk about the VBUS pin specifically.
