Someone asked me by email:
We'd like to know if you can provide us the layout guideline we should follow, especially for LVDS 6-bit TX and RX differential bus, which will be changed a lot when we move to our form factor.
In the AD9361 design package:
there is a document:
AD9361 Power Supply and Layout Guide
That document has many of the critical layout guidelines.
Since the LVDS is only running at ~245MHz, there isn't anything super critical to do on this bus.
The LVDS Rx [0:5] bus should be equal length, The LVDS Tx [0:5] bus should be equal length.
Since the driver independently manages the skew on Tx and Rx, It is not necessary to match Rx and Tx bus lengths.
Tomas may also have some comments/recommendations.
