Power Factor in ADE7878

Hello,

 

I recently work on ADE7953, As per datasheet Eq. No. 37 & Eq. No. 38 Gives two formulas for PF calculation which results as sign inversion.

 

As per datasheet, We go with Eq. No. 37.

In ADE7878, No special register is available for Power Factor. Eq. (5) is same as above Eq. No. (38).

 

Should we consider Reactive Power sign for PF calculation or Not?
