Assembly Routine Overwrites C Stackpointer

Hi there,

I got plenty of old SHARC assembler routines, which I need to use in a new CCES project. Unfortunately this assembler routines are making heavy use of registers i6 and i7 and therefore destroy the frame pointer and stack pointer of the C environment.

Is it possible to setup an assembler-only CCES project?

The problem is that the interrupts are always called through adi-handler / dispatcher C-functions. Although I can save and restore the registers I can not guarantee that I'm not interrupted in between.

Is there a solution for this problem or do I have to use VisualDSP++ 5 ?

Thanks,

Gary
