how to add chipscope pro cdc file for each component to the SDK design ??
To answer your question, as far as we know, the only thing that understands the cdc file is Chipscope Analyzer.
I suggest you do some initial reading on the tools, EDK flow, software and HDL basics.
w.e.f to the discussion regarding the chipscope pro in ADFMCOMMS
Thanks for your valuable reply which help me a lot
we just want to know how to test the whole signal chain by monitoring on each component like at DAC,Modulator,ADC
In simple words how to monitor the output at each component of the ADFMCOMMS-EBZ card
So far we thought of doing in chip scope pro instead if we use ISE we can route directly to chipscope pro but its different in this scenario
how to monitor the signal or monitor the signal in chip scope pro ?
Can we use any IIO scope from ADI ?
please do the favour
thanks in adavnce
Thanks in regards
That is a relevant question, but we are missing the basics.
In order to monitor the components you mentioned (DAC, Mod, Demod, ADC etc.). You will have to probe the board (there is a RF bypass option, but it is only for the DAC/ADC).
These things are beyond the FPGA, and you can't bring them inside the FPGA. The FPGA is only driving the DAC and receiving data from ADC. Your monitoring options within the FPGA (that is using chipscope) is limited to that. The IIO scope is limited to the ADC captured data (post DMA).
how can I use IIO scope for the ADC captured data
we could not able to install the IIO scope in our machine due to errors
please guide me to install the IIO scope or link
Thanks in Regards
