Try to learn VisualDSP++ to program BF592 EZ-Kit board.


Looking at some sample code, keep seeing seeing commands like *pPORTG_MUX, *pPORTG_FER


couple questions;


  1. I assume that *p is used as the pointer just like * in normal C
  2. If so, is this format unique to VisualDSP++?
  3. And which document should I read to have a full picture?
  4. I assume PORTG_MUX and PORTG_FER are the port registers defined in the Hardware Reference document. Can I just use the register names same as stated in the HW Reference without define them somewhere by myself?
