While trying to load u-boot into bf609 I've the following error. PLease suggest what can be done. Attached is the screenshot of the error.
Try to run bfin-uclinux-ldr -l /tftpboot/u-boot.ldr /dev/ttyS0 only, after the loading is done, open a minicom or hyperterminal on windows, what do you see?
I lost the cant open device error but its not connecting to minicom. My latest screenshot is attached.
could you try my suggestion and show me the result?
I tried as you suggested and after opening minicom, it is as shown below. Screenshots also attached.

run "minicom -s" insstead, and set it to 57600-8-n-1. http://lachlanmiskin.com/blog/2012/08/03/using-minicom-to-interface-with-serial-devices-on-linux/
check if you have really compiled the u-boot into UART boot if it does not work, modify the CONFIG_BFIN_BOOT_MODE in include/configs/bf609-ezkit.h and compile again.
