ADIS16IMU1/PCBZ Breakout Board, JP1?

Hello

I have been looking for some more documentation other than the provided "Getting Started" guide (found here  http://wiki.analog.com/resources/eval/user-guides/inertial-mems/imu/adis16imu1-pcb ) because I am unsure of the function of JP1.

I have the development board's VCC and GND pins, 8 and 10 respectively, connected to an external regulated 5V source and found that with the jumper included the supply is shorted. To be specific, there is no resistance between my VCC and GND pins on J1 with JP1 occupying the only populated pins (centered).

This is strange to me and the function of JP1 is not explained in the aforementioned wiki documentation. Could anyone shed some light on what the JP1 jumper is for?

Thanks!
