BF537 + EZ-FPGA: Flashing fpga prom locks out bf537

I have created a flash image for the EZ-Extender FPGA (.mcs file).

I open VD++ select Flash Programmer, load the driver, then program the FPGA PROM.

The FPGA is running the code, now how can I program something to the BF537?

I close Flash Programmer and try to run my VD++ project, but it cannot communicate with the BF537.

I need to press the reset button on the blackfin board before I can program anything new, but this also kills my FPGA PROM....

Are there some jumpers I need to move after flashing the FPGA?

Should I be programming the FPGA some other way?
