The process of making a custom Buildroot uImage

I have the latest buildroot(blackfin-buildroot-2012R2-RC5.tar.bz2) from sourceforge and want to generate a uImage for my custom BF537 board so that I can run linux on my blackfin device.

This seems to be the page to follow: http://docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=buildroot:build-system:build_a_target.

1. Am I expected to run each of the following commands?

- make linux-menuconfig

- make busybox-menuconfig

- make menuconfig

2. Do they each act on the same .config file? Which I go on to 'make' my custom uImage?

3. Why in linux-menuconfig does it ask for the silicon revision again even though I've entered the silicon revision in the make menuconfig?
