We have a some urgent requirement where we need to change the default field order of NTSC interlaced input.
Can anyone please help me, how can i achieve the same?
As you may know, ADV7441A is not recommended for new designs.
I will see if anybody knows if there is a way to change the default field order of NTSC input, but I don't know if we will be able to provide a solution.
Our video experts do not believe this is possible. Out of curiosity, what input are you using?
Thank you so much for a quick response. We are not designing any new product based on ADV7441a but we have some older video interface card (VIC) in which we used this chip. As per standard NTSC transmit bottom field first and rest of the interlaced standard (PAL and 1080i) transmit top field first. So we need to reverse the order of this fields in case of NTSC.
We are using sony camcoder and decklink card as video source.
We have used ADV7611 in our latest new VIC with TI's DM8148 SoC. Is it possible there with ADV7611?
I don't see anything in the ADV7611 documentation that indicates this is possible.
Why are you needing to do this?
We need this, because we observed jumps while the captured video is rendered.
It would require frame buffers to reorder fields, none of our interface parts can do this.
I doubt this is being caused by the HDMI receiver. They are pretty much "what comes in, goes out".
You've been working on this ADV7441A project for a while. Did you just come across this behavior?
