What does the .pcf file do in VDSP projects?

Hi All,

I generally like to keep all my project files in version control (svn). I've noticed that when I open a project (.dpj) file and then close VDSP a .pcf file is created. It appears that all it handles is IDE settings and does not need to be saved. Is this a correct understanding of the file?

thanks
