I am looking to use one of your chips to output RGB and Composite sync at 1280x1024 60hz, I was looking at the ADV7340, but could not find that timing output. Can someone tell me if this format is supported or if there is another chip that will?
The ADV734x products are primarily intended for analog component output for standard TV modes (480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i).
I'm not sure what you mean by composite sync but I'm guessing ADV734x is not a good fit. What standard and resolution are you trying to output?
SXGA 1280x1024 60hz Vsync 63.81 Hsync, the H and V sync's combined as a composite sync
When it comes to RGB output of VESA standards, we typically refer people to the ADV7123/ADV7125.
Have you already generated the composite sync signal?
I will check that out, and no it would need to be generated
I would be using it with a ADV7802, I am using it as a frame buffer so as not to loose video during a switch between a primary and secondary video source which is a redundant system.
The ADV7802 has a pin for CS/HS Output (CS/HS_OUT).
I was told by your tech support that this would not work without a video encoder, so just to be clear the 7802 should produce an sxga outputs at 60Hz?
