I'm using the ADL5382 IQ demodulator as part of a FMCW radar. Apparently I'm having too much voltage conversion gain. I essentially integrated the evaluation board schematics into a custom board with more components. I'm using it at 915MHz.
When I tested the demodulator the power at LO input is 3dBm and the power at RF input is -16dBm. With these powers I measure a differential output at I channel of 800mVpp (I make the Q component to be zero), which is too much as it would represent a voltage conversion gain of almost 27dB. I can't figure out why this is happening. Any suggestions? I will give more details or part of the schematics if needed.
