I am using AD9122 with 210MHz frequency with bypassed interpolation in Byte mode, how can i get to know the maximum frequency for DCI signal. Thanks inadvance.
The word mode DCI rate can be calculated by Fdac/interpolation ratio. Fdac is DAC sample rate. You are running the DAC clock at 210MHz and using 1x interpolation (bypass). The word mode DCI rate is then also 210MHz, which is equal to the DAC sample rate. In byte mode, the DCI rate is doubled in order to support the same data rate. So the DCI rate in your application is 420MHz.
Thanks for your help, if it happens to be 420Mhz then what would be its data rate, given the device supports a maximum of 1230MSPS.
The data rate is always 2x DCI rate as the AD9122 uses double data rate, both rising and falling edge. In your case, your data rate is 840MSPS.
