AD-FMCOMMS1 Board Modifications - Input Balun

There are a number of modifications to component values on the board that have been recently posted 9 end of May 2013 on the Wiki to address identified performance issues. There is also a change to one of the Baluns on the RF input, that has been suggested in the Card Specifications section of the Wiki.

It is suggested that the Balun, Component Designation T6, change from a Johanson 3600BL14M050 to a Mini Circuits TC1-1-43A. This modification would provide a flatter frequency response on the receiver across the lower half of the frequency range of the system.

However the Johanson part is about 1/2 the size of the Mini Circuits part. So I was wondering if someone could tell me how they managed to use the Mini Circuits part in place of the Johanson part and produce the frequency response plots shown in the LO BW (Modified Board) section of the Card Specifications section in the Wiki?
