uclinux support for core voltage regulator ezKit518

Hey,

I'm currently looking into the power management of the BF518.

It seems like the digital-poti and LDO approach used by the BF518 ezkit is not supported by the kernel, am i right?

The dpmc driver enabled by cpu frequency scaling/cpu voltage scaling doesn't seem to support the i2c poti and tries to write to the VR_CTL register.

The hardware reference disallows this (has no effect anyway).

I would assume that I can just update the driver and replace the write call to the voltage regulator with *something* changing the core voltage?

Cheers,

Kind Regards,

Kai
