on the FMCOMMS1 there is a USB connection to configure the PIC18F24J50-I/ML (I assume).
How can I install the USB-driver for the FMCOMMS1?
This mini USB was install for initial debugging, I don't think we support it any longer.
In future boards, it will not be populated.
What exactly are you trying to change or program? maybe it can be done in HDL?
I was wondering the need for the USB connection and thought I can directly configure the PIC from a GUI or something similar.
I just checked and the answer to this question is no.
The mini usb is not to be used and it will be removed in the future.
I thought the mini-USB is a direct configuration for the PIC, case the microblaze design is not desired. But it looks like the usage here is to update the the PIC firmware.
