Question about anomaly 05-00-0310

Hello,

I'm a bit confused about this hardware errata.

I'm using BF516 configured to use both data A and data B caches.

The anomaly workaround states:

Leave at least 76 bytes free before any boundary with a reserved memory space.

Looking at the processor's memory map sections are in the following order:

     - Data A

     - Data A Cache

     - Reserved

From what I understand Data A Cache is at a boundary with a reserved memory. So the 76 bytes should be at the end of Data A Cache.

But the LDF generator reserves 76 bytes at the end of Data A, not Data A Cache.

The question is:

Am I not understanding something or the generated LDF file is wrong?

Regards,

Alexander
