I am using AD2S1205, the phase shift between Excitation & SIN/COS is possible to be beyond +/-44 degree.
As datasheet mentioned, if phase shift is within +/-44 degree, AD2S1205 is OK to compensate it to less than 10 degree, and so it is OK to get accuracy measurement data. But there is no detail description about what will be happened if the phase shift is beyond +/-44 degree range, e.g. 45, 60, 70, 90 degree and so on.
I suppose if in this case AD2S1205 should NOT OK to get right angluar & speed data, and LOT alarm should be triggered due to error > 5 degree threshold, is it correct? and is there any experiment data & document avaialable to take reference?
