Where can I find the latest Anomaly Support list? Specifically for ADSP-21368 and VDSP 5.0 r6. This link is dead.
You can find all the SHARC anomaly lists (including the one for the ADSP-21368) at the following link: http://www.analog.com/en/embedded-processing-dsp/sharc/processors/ic-anomalies/resources/index.html
If you want to view anomaly lists for other processors, they are available from each processor's technical library which can be found here:
I guess I need to get better at phrasing my questions.
What anomalies are/not managed by the VDSP compiler and library?
Ex: 08000026 - Incorrect Popping of stacks possible when exiting IRQx/Timer Interrupts with DB modifiers
Do the "interrupt/f/s()" wrappers manage this properly?
The best sources of information on the anomalies that are worked around by the tools are the XML files in the directory <<INSTALL_DIR>>/System/ArchDef.These files are used to control the the behaviour of the tools and have been formatted to be easily readable. In your case, there are two files that are of interest:
- ADSP-21368-compiler.xml. This file shows which workarounds are handled by the tools, and the silicon revisions that the workarounds are applied to.
- SHARC-2136X-LX3-anomaly.xml. This file provides more information on the supported workarounds for these anomalies and applies to the 21367, 21368 and 21369 parts. The XML files are best viewed using a browser window; here is the information about 08000026:
We hope this helps.
Am I correct that since this is not posted in my Update 6 files, that this anomaly was not addressed until Update 7?
Yes, that is correct. The workaround for 08000026 was introduced in Update 7.
