I have a medical customer here in town that has been looking at the AD7680 SAR ADC for about a week now (meets most of their requirements).
However, they just recently came to me and asked if a Sigma-Delta architecture is a better fit for their sensor application.
Essentially, with the AD7680 the minimum operating voltage is 2.5V and they would prefer an ADC that operates lower than 2.5V.
I wanted to check with you to see if there is a Sigma-Delta ADC equivalent to the AD7680 with lower power and equavalent or better accuracy
Here’s a list of their criteria:
- >= 100KSPS
- 1-2 Channels
- Serial Interface
- Sigma-Delta Architecture
- Sub-2.5V operating voltage
I checked Compass and the ADI parametric tool on the website, but could not find anything.
I'm hoping there is something I overlooked.
Thanks in advance for your help.
