Should the SPI memory pins be configured?

Hi

Does anyone knows if the SPI external memory should be configured at boot time when using the VDK?   I still don't know whether my code would reside externally or internally, and I have no idea whether the external memory pinout has to be configured (DPI_P01,  DPI_P02, DPI_P03, DPI_P04)?

On the other hand (what I'm trully interested) is on using the SPI to access an external ADC.   When I am configuring the SRU, there are two SPIs: SPI and SPIB.   Is the SPI the one connected to the SPI external booting memory?   Should I connect my ADC to the SPIB?

I am using the ADSP21369, configured similarly to the ADSP-21369 EZKIT Lite (external SPI Flash, SRAM and Flash memory).   Does anyone knows if I need to configure this memory somewhere in the VisualDSP++ 5.0?

Thanks,

Outcomes
