526 EZ-KIT usb_audio_app

Just tested the example: Drivers\usb\usb_audio_app for the BF526 EZ-KIT (version 1.1, = SSM2603 codec)

Two things:

1)

Works great to record from line-in on Windows XP.

Tested audio input on Mac OS X 10.6.2, here it doesn't work that well. Sounds cool though, like a delay and bitcrusher effect!

2)

Any simple way of enabling the mic instead of line-in?

in codec.c I changed the mic props so they read:

but it's still the line-in that gets mixed through..

static ADI_DEV_ACCESS_REGISTER_FIELD ConfigBF52xC1[] =

{ BF52xC1_REG_POWER,         BF52xC1_RFLD_MIC_PDN,           0},  // MIC Power ON
{ BF52xC1_REG_ANALOGUE_PATH, BF52xC1_RFLD_ENABLE_MIC_MUTE,   0},  // Un-mute MIC
{ BF52xC1_REG_ANALOGUE_PATH, BF52xC1_RFLD_ADC_IN_SELECT,     1},  // Select Microphone as ADC input
{ BF52xC1_REG_ANALOGUE_PATH, BF52xC1_RFLD_ENABLE_MIC_BOOST,  1},  // Enable Microphone boost

I haven't dived in too much but I guess the sound-card driver on the pc can change those values back over the usb callbacks..!?
