Trouble invoking automation from IDDE command line

I can't seem to get the IDDE to accept the -f option to run a vbscript at startup. When I use this command with the attached quit.vbs, I would expect the IDDE to open and then immediately quit:

"C:\Program Files\Analog Devices\VisualDSP 5.0\System\Idde.exe" -f quit.vbs

Instead it just opens, with no indication that it knows about the script. If load the script manually through File->Load Script..., it exits.

Any ideas what could be wrong? This is on VisualDSP++ 5.0 Update 4 with a Test Drive license.

Thanks,
