Using FLASH Programmer in Simulator

Hi All,

I am using JS28F128 flash in my custom-made board consisting of ADSP-TS201S.

For programming the flash, I have made changes to the Flash Programmer to be compatible to my FLASH.

Now, I am presently in the simulator session of Visual DSP++, since I dont have my board right now.

When I load the modified FlashProgrammer dxe file, the driver doesnt get loaded and the program goes into an infinite loop.

When I halt the program, it halts at the step __lib_prog_term.

My questions are -

1. Can I debug and test my Flash Programemr interface in the Simulator Session?

2. What is exactly the function of lib_prog_term? Does it indicate successful termination of my application?

3. If I cant debug the functionality fo my FLASH programmer, can it be done only when a coenction is established with the custom flash on board? If not, is there any other way to validate its functionality?

Hoping for a positive response.

Thanks and Regards,

Sid
