TIMER usage on BF-533

Hi all,

we are using TIMER2 in BF-533 ez-kit Lite. The code is using VDK. We configured Timer2 to use TIMER_WDTH and loaded the width with value 1. That means the timer has to generate interrupt after 7.5 ns. But if we calculate the time difference between enabling the timer and interrupt routine, it has been found that it is consuming 45 us....even if u set the timer for 1 sec delay, the time consumed is equal to 1 sec 42 us...

is there any specific reason for this. Or the VDK functionality rquires min. 42 us latency...
