I need a 16 bit 16 channel 100ksps adc evaluation board with photodiodes that can be interfaced with virtex 5 fpga . Which product would be suitable? can you suggest something? Thanks in advance
I'm moving this thread into the precision converter community, someone here should be able to help you find an appropriate converter for your application.
Thank you for your inquiry.
We are looking on your concern. We'll get back to you soon.
I have checked the web but cannot find a 16bit 16channel at 100ksps on a single chip. There are several parts that have 16bit resolution but have only 8 channel.
I can suggest the AD7606 which is an 16bit, 8 channel ADC. It has an option to connect multiple AD7606 together. There is a circuit note (CN0148 http://www.analog.com/static/imported-files/circuit_notes/CN0148.pdf) for this part that you can refer to, which discusses connection of two AD7606 that would make upto 16 channel board.
Thanks for your reply. How much does this one cost?

Unfortunately we do not have the circuit note boards available for now but the schematic can be downloaded. I am not sure with the costing. Currently the available is the evaluation board (http://www.analog.com/en/analog-to-digital-converters/ad-converters/ad7606/products/product.html#product-evaluationkits) for the AD7606, which only uses one AD7606.
By the way, what application you intend to use the ADC?
Thanks for your reply. The purpose of the adc is to convert the the current
from the photodetector to digital signal and the digital should be sent
back to the fpga. We are using it to build a imaging system (wavefront
shaping). We have virtex 5 lx30 fpga kit and looking for an ADC
evaluation board with EXP adapter (120 pins) that can be connected to
