The default sampling rate for DAC is 48kHz. How to modified to 192kHz or 96kHz?
Hi Ming wu,
You need to configure the DAC control register 1 for changing the sample rate of the DAC. In the Talkthrough example code you can change the "Config1835Param" array used for programming the AD1835.
WR | DACCTRL1 | DACI2S | DAC24BIT | DACFS48,
WR | DACCTRL1 | DACI2S | DAC24BIT | DACFS96
WR | DACCTRL1 | DACI2S | DAC24BIT | DACFS192
The macros for DACFS96 and DACFS192 are defined under the ad1835.h file.
Note that in the Talkthrough example codes the clock and frame sync generated by ADC are routed to DAC as well. When the DAC needs to be used with 96 KHz, you can configure the ADC also to generate 96 KHz sample rate. Or you need to use an external source. For 192-KHz operation, you may need to use an external source for generating the required sample rate.
