now I am writing a external interrupt. and I think I have to write a drive.
and I wonder is there a example that as a start for me?
what I want is that ,when a signal (like a key down) arrive, my system will do the special function.
Take a look at the code in drivers/char/bfin*.c, there are lots of simple examples how interrupt is registered and handled on blackfin.
As we have discussed earlier in other thread, there are usually existing code and code framework to implement a certain function, give more detailed descriptions about your detailed goal and requirement often help us a lot to help you.
This book http://lwn.net/Kernel/LDD3/ will help you to build some concepts on Linux drivers.
finally what project are you working on and what kind of product you are tying to implement?
thank you very much
and my project is want to make a camera, that when the external signal arrivels, the camera will take a picture.
search camera in our document wiki, you will find something useful. Use our existing camera related facilitates as in documentation is much more practical than trying to start from scratch.
