Could u somebody tell me the difference between modem_LR(LR:-Long range) and modem.
We use both in same SOC or only one in the SOC??
Thanks with Regards
I don't really understand the question. This forum is primarily set up to deal with questions on specific Analog Devices RF Components. I think that your question may be a more general comms question. If so, this is not something we deal with.
Thanks for response
In RF communication:
Before transmission we use modulator to modulate the signals and then transmit modulated data through RF
Similarly in reception after receiving modulated data through RF, data is sent to demodulator to get the original signal.
That why we use modem(modulator and demodulator) before RF interface.
So in a system we are using modem and modem-LR(Long range modem).
So I am not able to understand that why we are using long range modem(modem-LR)??
What is the use of modem-LR???
If still u find this question misappropriate then Please refer me to some other part of forum which deals with general or modulation or communication(Analog) related questions.
I think that this is not the right forum for your question. ADI's Engineerzone is primarily intented to deal with questions and discussions around specific ADI RF components.
