Hi,

I have began a masters project this year that involves developing the front end of a software defined radio receiver.

I have purchased the HSC-ADC-EVALCZ and the AD9629-40EBZ to analysis the sub-sampling theory at VHF. Once I have complete this using VisualAnalog, I would like to interface the output data from the AD9629-40EBZ to some sort of FPGA or DSP to implement digital filtering, decoding and demodulation etc. effectively replacing the HSC-ADC-EVALCZ to do RF processing in the digital domain.

My first question is, is it possible to interface the AD9629-40EBZ output to a FPGA or DSP?

Secondly, if this is possible can you please lead me on the right path to identifying how this is achieved and what FPGA's or DSP's to consider?.

If this is not possible, is there another way to obtain the AD9629-40EBZ output data and implement some digital signal processing on it?

Hope you can help.

Kind regards,

Les
