I purchased the CN0289 eval kit and plan to make a circuit based on the same for a pressure sensor.Upon adjustment and testing with various load cells,I found the full scale span varying from cell to cell due to obvious minute variations in the load cell. Is there any standard recommendation for including flexibility of adjustment for span and offset errors which can be included in the circuit and for production??
Each sensor is going to have a unique sensitivity and it is that parameter which will be most important when designing your particular circuit. You'll want to ensure that the full scale value of your sensor (sensitivity*max pressure) will work with your circuitry. Typically this can be done by simply changing the gain in the circuit, but you'll need to know the range of sensors you are working with in order to calculate that.
Most sensors I've seen range from 10mV/V to 50 mV/V, but again you will need to check this because there are other sensors that could be different.
