Hello.

I have questions about your Register Setting Recommendation for Color Space Converter (ADV7614).

Question 1:
--------------------------------------------------
There are descriptions about Auto Color Space Conversion around page 167 of "ADV7614_HW_RevD.pdf".
It seems that we have no problem to use Auto Color Space Conversion when we set the registers below:
INP_COLOR_SPACE[3:0]
RGB_OUT
ALT_GAMMA
OP_656_RANGE_SEL

But there are following descriptions on "ADV7614_RecommendedSettings_Rev1.4.pdf".
"Use the CP CSC for all HDMI streams that have video data with 4:4:4 format. The CP CSC can be enabled
with the settings that follow
CP Map
44 69 30 Enable CP CSC"
So your recommendation is that both CP_CSC_MAN_EN and CP_CSC_EN are set to high.

Does this mean we have any problem when we use Auto Color Space Conversion?
If it's yes, could you tell me what problem may occur when we use Auto Color Space Conversion?

Question 2:
--------------------------------------------------
We are going to use ADV7614 as following input/output and register setting.

---------------------------
CP Map
44 69 00 ;
It means that both CP_CSC_MAN_EN and CP_CSC_EN are set to low.

HDMI input:
resolution  : 480p and VGA
color space : YCbCr422, YCbCr444, RGB

Output:
resolution  : 480p and VGA
color space : YCbCr422

We use Non decimated mode 1x1.
DPP_BYPASS_EN is set high.
---------------------------

There are following descriptions on page 165 of "ADV7614_HW_RevD.pdf":
"When CP_CSC_MAN_EN is set to 0:The CP CSC is enabled automatically for non decimated mode 1x1 and 2x2 unless DPP_BYPASS_EN is set low."

So in this case, CP_CSC is enabled automatically because DPP_BYPASS_EN is set high.
Do we have any problem as setting " 44 69 00 ;"?

Thank you!

Tamu
