hello i want to have over/under current and voltage protection, the problem i can select one correct ic because i have one system with 200V and 4A.
can i select the hot-swap ic's because if possible i want with i2c connection.
The ADE ICs do not have such a protection by themselves. One common method used is to incorporate back-to-back diodes in front of the V and I signals going into the chip. In terms of isolating the communication lines, you can look at using opto-isolators between the ADE IC and the MCU. In this way, you would ensure that the MCU and the PC would stay protected from the high voltage lines on the ADE IC-side of the setup.
