My customer used data Cache in BF533, and they found async access will cause"unknown exception" via EBIU. If disable data Cache, such exception will disappear. Had anyone encountered similar problem?
I am not sure if this helps you however I would like to give a try!!
1)I think you can just check with your customer to see to it that he is not trying to write into Non-cacheable region of Asynchronous memory.
Pls see the snapshot captured in data cache.doc taken from page no 296 of BF533 HRM from web. Please also refer to bit settings of DCPLB_DATAx Registers given in page 299 of HRM
bit settings of DCPLB_DATAx Registers given in page 299 of HRM
2)To write down a piece of code which is accessing the flash memory(some async memory) and where data cache is enabled through VDSP++ IDE options and checking if execptions are getting generated.
I would also like to inform you that I tried checking the anomaly list of BF533 and also the EE-271 to see if there are any known issues but was unable to get any info regarding the same.
