Hello all,

     kernel:    Linux release 2.6.34.7-ADI-2010R1, build #27 Thu Sep 6 09:33:33 HKT 2012

     toolchain: bfin-linux-uclibc-gcc release gcc version 4.3.5 (ADI-2010R1-RC4)

     user-dist: release svn-1399, build #3 Wed Sep 12 00:57:03 PDT 2012

I find the Cached has been increasing when i am recording by voip phone. The cached will be freed by run the following command manually,

echo 3 >/proc/sys/vm/drop_caches.

Can i do some configures in linux-kernel to make it free the cached automatically?

At present, the file /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches context is 0 after system boots.

Additionally, Can i do some configures in linux-kernel to make the file /proc/sys/vm/nr_pdflush_threads context becomes 2 which is 0 now. Tks.

Best Rgds

Kenny
