What does Revision Id register contain. Can you please give an elaborate information on this.
simple...The Revision ID holds the version number of the module used in that processor. If different processors, have same version of a module, then Rev ID register of that module would be same in all those processors. Different versions of module will have different RevID value in it's register.
Since there is no use of this register from application point, the RevID registers of many modules have been marked as private and those do not appear in public documentation. I am not sure why the RevID of Timer module is published.
