When I open XRC/DVP Program and browse the tabs representing each of the I2C maps, I get I2C errors. What could be causing these errors?
Most of ADI's video parts have programmable I2C addresses which default to the I2C address of 0x00 on initialisation. Before using the parts, these addresses must be configured in the (non-programmable) IO map.
When a tab is selected, it expects an I2C slave to respond with the I2C address shown just beneath the tab
One of the first actions completed in any script is to set all of the programmable I2C addresses to a non-zero value. If a script has not been run, all of the programmable addresses will be at 0x00 and selecting the tab for that I2C map will generate an error.
To resolve this error, please run a script and then try browsing the I2C map tabs.
