Selecting ADC resolution for MEMS sensor?

Hi, I would like to know how select correct ADC to use with MEMS acceleration sensor.

 

I could have several combinations, for example (values are random):

 

- 2g fullscale sensor with 30 ug/sqrt(Hz) noise density

- 1g fullscale sensor with 80 ug/sqrt(Hz) noise density

 

Now, first sensor gives me less sensitivity, but has got less noise.

So should I use first or second sensor?

 

Then, how could I calculate the resolution of ADC?

I could use a 24-bit ADC, but due to the noise (in the given bandwidth) I could reach same results using a cheapest 8-bit ADC.

 

Is there available a datasheet or application note, or similar?
