ADV7630 in used external the EDID ROM.
If the system or ADV7630 is not powered. The ADV7630 DDCI2C pin is high impedance or not.
And Whether the ADV7630 will let external EDID ROM I2C address can not make work. Thanks~~
The ADV7630 powers up the internal EDID from the DDC_5V signal. The DDC_5V or RXA_5V pin is used to detect connection so it is required to be connectedd to the chip. It is recommended not to use external EDID memory but use the design illustrated in Figure 4
About the internal EDID is must use an SPI EEPROM put Pin66 -69 or also can use system I2C write to internal EDID?The Figure-4 is from below website?
If our design is RXA / B / C / D are connected to respective DDC_5V now the FW of setting disable internal EDID. Then the AC Power OFF. The Internal EDID is work or not?
I worry the Core Power OFF, but internal EDID is alive(HDMI cable is on system). And the EDID DDC communication with external conflict?
If you write the internal EDID, power off the chip and unplug the HDMI cables then you have no power at all and will loose the internal EDID that you wrote, that's why the configuration in figure 4 is shown. The EDID data is stored in the SPI memory and loaded when the source powers it up and request a EDID block
