Is there any tools to increase precision to 64 bits processing on the BF537. In extreme cases my filter experiences unacceptable noise using fract32 math.
There is a free toolsuite from ADI called VisualAudio and which includes a lot of optimized processing stuff for BF and Sharcs. Also inlcuded are 64bit IIR filters which causes no audible artefacts.
a short demo of the fetaures is shown in
Introduction to VisualAudio -> http://www.demosondemand.com/clients/analogdevices/001/page/
We only provide libraries that support up to 32bit fract math, unfortunately. I should also note that the VisualAudio Tools mentioned by Chris, above, may be useful but are no longer supported by Analog Devices.
We recommend instead looking at other third party offerings, such as AudioWeaver, as an alternative to VisualAudio.
