I am trying to connect to BF548 EZ-KIT via Visual DSP++ 5.0 using USB Debug Agent. When I connect I get errors shown in attachment. My boot switch is set to 1 i.e boot from flash.
Please provide me a solution for this.
Can you try changing the Boot Mode switch to another setting, to ensure that there isn't a bad image in flash causing the processor to be incommunicable via JTAG?
If that isn't the problem, please check the Windows Device Manager - is the EZ-KIT Listed under 'ADI Development Tools'? If not, please try re-installing the driver manually, using the files in the "...\Setup\Emu_Drivers\" directory.
If you still have the same problem, please provide details of your VisualDSP++ installation version (e.g. VisualDSP++ 5.0 Update 10.1), your EZ-KIT Lite board, bom and silicon revision (Board revision is silk-screened on the PCB, BOM is printed on a sticker on the underside, and silicon revision is printed directly on the BF548 processor on the Kit), and what operating system you are using. e.g. Windows 7 x64.
We changed the boot mode (SW1) and then tried to connect target & it worked. We re-flashed the flash & now the code is working fine.
Thanks for your help, The problem was bad image in flash.
