I need an video input on my FPGA project that can support 2540x1440 at 60Hz. This resolution is not listed in the datasheet or user manual.
Does it support this resolution?
The table deals with CEA standards and I don't think 2540x1440 is a standard (have to check). The key is the clock rate. The device can handle odd formats as long as we don't exceed any clock rate.
The ADV7619 is rated up to 297MHz pixel rate (3Gbps) however it must be in CP bypass mode if the pixel rate exceeds 2.25Gbps. Check out UG-237, PASS THROUGH MODE section
2540x1440@60 will exceed 170MHz (2.25Gbps)
Also note if the clock is above 170 MHz you will have to run it in 2 x SDR , OP_FORMAT_SEL = 0x94,0x95,0x96,0x54

The resolution of 2540x1440 is not mentioned in table 6 or table 7 (UG-237 document).

Above discussion is when pixel rate is above 170MHz.
Is it possible to program OP_FORMAT_SEL = 0x54 for pixel frequency below 170MHz?
So that ADV7619 will work in 2x24 bit mode irrespective of pixel frequency.
2 x SDR mode should work irrespective of pixel frequency.
Can you please share settings which i need to do for OP_FORMAT_SEL = 0x54?
I don't have a specific scripts however if you set OP_FORMAT_SEL = 0x54 the output should go to 1/2 the clock rate and double wide output per the data sheet. I've just been informed that the ADV7619 should handle 1440p fine
