1080i and 720i were supported by ADV7611,How I know when the first line is coming? Is there some flags?
The interlaced field is determined by when the HSync pulse occurs in relationship to the the VSync pulse. Check out CEA-861E or any good book or web site on video formats.
Field 1 is when the leading edge of VSync and Hsync coincide
Field 2 is when the leading edge of Vsync lags the leading edge of Hsync.
The format of 1080i is the same as what you call me,I can check it in CEA-861D or CEA-861E,But I can't find the format of 720i.
Where can I find it?
The standard does not define a 720i60 however if there was such a definition the pixel rate would be 37.125MHz. The 7611 can support this clock, you would just have to define you own timing formats.
I strongly suggest staying with the CEA standard formats, they should cover all the resolution requirements you have.
